The Kings are likely on the verge of a rebuilding project and Kevin Martin will likely be the centerpiece of that effort. Martin came out of nowhere last season with a monster season and he’s proving so far that it was not a fluke. Martin has played in 15 games this season and he’s averaged 40.1 minutes, 24.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.3 steals per game. The Kings will probably even look to Martin for more scoring if they move Ron Artest in a trade at some point this season.
