The Kings outrebounded the Bobcats 55-39 and that was a huge key to the victory last night. Brad Miller was awesome in this game as he finished with 22 points, 21 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 blocked shots. Kevin Martin pitched in with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Ron Artest also had a solid game with 21 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. The Kings are now 20-24 on the season.

The Kings won a tough battle on Sunday Night with the young Sonics. Kevin Martin hit the game winning shot as he finished with 26 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Brad Miller was tough around the basket with 13 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Mike Bibby was solid running the show with 13 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals. The Kings are now 19-24 on the season with this win.

The Kings didn’t play any defense last night as the Jazz shot 57.7% from the floor which was the main reason for the loss last night. Kevin Martin led the way for the Kings with 32 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Brad Miller had a decent game with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Ron Artest pitched in with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists. The Kings fell to 18-24 on the season with this loss.

The Kings appeared tired in the second half Wednesday Night against the Clippers as they were outscored 61-36 in the 2nd half of the game. Mike Bibby led the way for the Kings with 16 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists. Brad Miller was tough as he finished with 15 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals. The Kings are now 18-23 on the season.

The Kings blasted the Nets last night as they shot 57.5% from the floor and outrebounded the Nets 41-29 which explains the ease of the victory last night. Ron Artest was outstanding as he led the Kings with 27 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Kevin Martin also had a solid game with 19 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. Mike Bibby did a solid job of running the offense with 15 points, 3 rebounds and 7 assists. The Kings improved to 18-22 on the season with this win.

The Kings looked good again tonight as they won again on the road. Mikki Moore led the way for the Kings with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Kevin Martin got back into the starting lineup and he finished up with 20 points and 2 rebounds. Beno Udrih had a solid game running the show with 20 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists. Brad Miller was outstanding near the basket with 11 points, 16 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals. The Kings are now 17-22 on the season with this win.

Sacramento Kings 100, Detroit Pistons 93

The Kings shot 50.7% from the floor last night and they outscored the Pistons 24-16 in the 4th quarter to seal a very nice road win. The Kings were finally at full strength last night and it showed on the basketball court. Kevin Martin played 31 minutes off of the bench and he led the Kings with 24 points and 7 rebounds. Ron Artest also had a solid game off of the bench with 18 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. Brad Miller was outstanding in the paint with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Mike Bibby came off of the bench and he scored 16 points, snatched 5 rebounds and dished out 4 assists. The Kings improved to 16-22 on the season with this win.

The Sacramento Kings lose Shareef Abdur-Rahim for the rest of the season

The Kings have lost reserve forward Shareef Abdur-Rahim for the remainder of the season after he underwent surgery on his right knee. This was a lost season for the veteran forward as he played in only 6 games this season and he averaged 1.7 points, 1.7 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game. At least the Kings have veterans like Mikki Moore and Kenny Thomas to pick up the minutes that Abdur-Rahim would have gotten.

Brad Miller has turned back the clock as he has been outstanding so far this season for the Kings. Miller has played in 32 games this season for the Kings and he is averaging 35.8 minutes, 13.8 points, 8.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game. Point guard Beno Udrih has been playing the best basketball of his NBA career this year for the Kings. Udrih has played in 27 games so far this season for the Kings and he is averaging 36.2 minutes, 13.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.1 steals per game.

Francisco Garcia and John Salmons are steppin’ up for the Sacramento Kings

Francisco Garcia and John Salmons are playing the best basketball of their NBA careers right now. Garcia has played in 30 games so far this season (9 starts) and he is averaging 27.6 minutes, 13.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.2 steals per game. His playing time might increase even more with Ron Artest out for a few weeks. Salmons has played in 30 games (21 starts) this season and he is averaging 35.8 minutes, 16.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.5 steals per game. The Kings will need both of these guys to keep playing well or they will be in big trouble.
