The Kings have waived guard Tyronn Lue before he even played in a game for them. He had been nursing a minor injury when he came to the Kings who have decided that they didn’t want to wait for him to get healthy. They will just give the minutes he would have gotten to John Salmons and Francisco Garcia.

Spencer Hawes will have to bide his time behind Brad Miller who has been outstanding this season. Hawes has played in 50 games (0 starts) for the Kings this season and he is averaging 9.0 minutes, 3.4 points, 2.4 rebounds and 0.3 assists per game.
