21-year old Spencer Hawes really played well last season for the Kings especially after Brad Miller was traded to the Bulls. Overall, Hawes played in 77 games for the Kings last season and he averaged 29.3 minutes, 11.4 points, 7.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.2 blocked shots per game. The Kings will likely increase Hawes’ workload around 8-10 minutes a game this season as he has no real back up. Donte’ Greene will likely back up Hawes this season at center.
